The
Purpose-Driven Church, by Rick Warren
While I'm not a pastor, reading this
book forever changed my understanding of the church's purpose and
function. Author Rick Warren explains how pursuing the 5 Biblical
purposes for the church (worship, ministry, evangelism, fellowship, and
discipleship) will impact both the saved and the unsaved in our
communities -- resulting in a healthy church that God can bless! I
recommend this book for all Christians, whether involved in full-time
ministry or desiring to be used of God in any way.
