Rekindle Your MarriageIf you're married, then your relationship with your husband should be at the top of your priorities -- right next to God Himself! I've found that when everything is okay between me and my husband, everything else in my life falls into line. The Bible teaches us as women to submit to our husbands. This is not easy, but I'm always amazed at the joy it brings to my home. To help you learn more about submission, I'd like to recommend you read this article: Go to http://www.aboverubies.org
I would like you to take a piece of paper from your notebook and make a list of everything you already know your husband would like you to change or do. This list might include having a hot supper ready for him every evening, wearing lipstick or perfume more often, ironing his shirts, not nagging him about what he does in his spare time, or being careful about how you spend money. Next, I want you to show him the list this evening and ask him if there is anything else you should add! Finally, I want you to add something to the time schedule you made in Step Two. Add in enough time each day to accomplish the things on the list you just made. Another good idea would be to ask your husband each morning, "Honey, is there anything you would like me to do for you today?" Then do it! Sorry, this step isn't going to talk about lighting candles or getting more romance in your marriage. I'm sure, though, that if you follow my advice above, you will certainly rekindle some loving feelings in your house. In the meantime, you're starting to get your priorities in order, and isn't that why we're working through these steps? If you need more help in your marriage, I'd like to recommend the links at this website: http://www.geocities.com/Heartland/Plains/8218/links.html You also need to add another book to your "reading list."
